We are Stijn Vos and Erik Felderhof.

We both grew up in the Netherlands and both built our working lives around a move to the United States.

Stijn spent eleven years turning Esdec, a Dutch rooftop-solar mounting company, into Enstall: a group of European and American brands. The company has offices in Amsterdam and Greenwich, Connecticut, and also in the Bay Area, Phoenix and Boston. The work was practical — products for installers, acquisitions, and the slow job of competing in the U.S. solar market. After Enstall was acquired by Blackstone in 2022, he now chairs Enstall’s supervisory board.

Erik grew up in a television family, produced Villa Felderhof as a teenager, and moved to Los Angeles in 2016. He founded Original Bear, a film and TV company that develops documentaries and series, including work that has won Webby and Telly awards. He still produces between the U.S. and the Netherlands.

Together we host a video podcast with Dutch entrepreneurs who built a business that actually works in America. Not the pitch version. The version with hiring, culture, deals, and the things that went wrong.

Stijn knows that crossing from the operator’s side. Erik knows how to put the conversation on camera. That is the show.
